Our recorded dance history spans back to the time when homo sapiens were communicating through cave paintings.  It is speculated that dancing was used in ritual and celebration to cultivate connection, raise energy, celebrate hunting, aid in healing, and for communication with the gods and spirit world.  Our origins are simple yet poignant.  The fact that this expression has translated throughout a history of 30,000 years is an ongoing testament to the innate power inherent within the practice of conscious dance in community.
